Drive redirection in xrdp used the rdpdr static channel to communicate with the client.

On the server end, to emulate the file system, fuse is used.  Fuse allows you to create a virtual file system in user land.

The rdpdr channel actually does more the drive redirection but only drive redirection is implemented for now.

See MS-RDPEFS for more information

To use, configure xrdp

./configure --enable-fuse

The when connecting with FreeRDP, to turn on drive redirection use.

xfreerdp --plugin rdrdp ??

Then, when connected, there should be a directory in your home called xrdp_client that shows your remote files.
